The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has stepped up its drive to source local currency financing, allowing it to continue local currency lending to the countries where it invests and strengthening these economies as they grapple with the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

Европейский банк реконструкции и развития (ЕБРР) и Национальный банк Украины (НБУ) договорились о свопе в размере $500 млн с целью увеличения доступности финансирования в гривне для местных компаний, на которые негативно повлияла пандемия коронавируса. 

Малым и средним предприятиям на западе Украины поможет новый кредит в размере до €7,5, который «Банк Львов» получил в рамках Кредитной линии ЕБРР-EU4Business. Кредит будет доступен для выборки в гривне, что защитит заемщиков «Банка Львов» от валютных рисков, а средства, выделяемые заемщикам в рамках кредита, будут иметь более длинные сроки погашения.
