Ukraine’s Kyivstar taps Wirecard for mobile top-ups
Wirecard, the leading specialist for digital financial technology, and Kyivstar, (VEON’s Group subsidiary in Ukraine) launched processing services, including real-time solutions, on the VEON platform in Ukraine.

Vodafone Ukraine, Privatbank cooperate on ID system
Mobile operator Vodafone Ukraine has started a partnership with Privatbank to link the Mobile ID Vodafone and Bank ID Privatbank technologies. The combined systems will facilitate customer access to a wider range of electronic government services and services requiring an electronic signature.
A special SIM supporting the Mobile ID service is necessary in order to access the system. The SIM costs UAH 100, and the activation fee for the Mobile ID service is UAH 150. Monthly subscription costs UAH 15.

Норвежская компания Telenor сообщила в пятницу, что продала оставшиеся 157 миллионов акций в телекоммуникационной группе VEON (ранее Вымпелком) за $362 миллионов.
“Эта сделка соответствует стратегии компании, о которой сообщалось ранее, и завершает продажу акций VEON”, — говорится в сообщении.
Проиграв битву за контроль над компанией VEON с российским миллиардером Михаилом Фридманом, в 2015 году Telenor приняла решение о продаже 33% акций компании.
